Arsenal were stunned by West Bromwich Albion during a dramatic first half at the Hawthorns in Premier League action on Saturday.
The Gunners were dealt a major blow on 14 minutes when defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin was replaced by Mikel Arteta after being injured during a forceful 50-50 tackle.
However, the loss of the midfield powerhouse didn’t seem to immediately affect Arsene Wenger’s side, who took the lead 14 minutes later when Mesut Ozil’s free kick was met by Olivier Giroud, who headed home past Boaz Myhill.
Despite suggestions that Laurent Koscielny, Tony Pulis will be furious with his defenders, who wholly failed to deal with the powerful French forward.

However, perhaps buoyed by the loss of Coquelin, the Albion fought their way back into the match and equalised when James Morrison fired home after a fine free kick from Chris Brunt.
