Eden Hazard: 40% chance of leaving Chelsea within the year, says transfer expert

Transfer expert David Amoyal has made his prediction for Eden Hazard’s transfer future, and there’s good and bad news for Chelsea fans.

The Belgian playmaker is enduring a mixed season at Stamford Bridge and has failed to hit the heights that he managed last term.

Despite this, the attacker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane publicly expressing his admiration for the former LOSC Lille star.

With Chelsea struggling in the Premier League—the Blues sit down in 16th in the table ahead of this weekend’s games—there has been some suggestion that Hazard would look to jump ship, and might have been courting interest from Los Merengues.

However, according to Amoyal—who has made his name as a transfer expert alongside Gianluca Di Marzio—there is only a 10 percent chance of a Hazard transfer in January [via ESPN].

While this news will come as good news to Blues fans, Amoyal’s predictions for Hazard’s long-term future may be less encouraging.

Amoyal reckons Hazard is 40% likely to leave Stamford Bridge next summer, and tips both Paris Saint-Germain—as well as known suitors Real—as a potential destination for the international.
