Chelsea skipper John Terry has got a really bad rap.
From allegations of racism, philandering, foul play, narcissism, J.T. has had a lot thrown at him over the years.
Even though he is a captain, leader and a legend, Terry is routinely portrayed as one of football’s bad guys and is regularly criticised by opposing fans and pundits alike.
However, this latest—somewhat uncharacteristic—act of kindness from the Blues skipper should perhaps prompt a re-evaluation of former England centre-back.
Terry recently learned about the death of a Chelsea fan, a Mr. Michael Goode, and went out of his way to send a letter of condolence to the late supporter’s widow.

J.T. not only expressed the club’s sadness at the one of one of their loyal fans, they also outlined the value that each and every one of the club’s supporters has for the Chelsea family.
Maybe Terry should be given a bit of credit after all!
