Jurgen Klopp is enjoying a largely encouraging start to life at Liverpool, but who have been his key men?
The German coach has overseen seven matches since taking over the Anfield giants. While the Reds took their time to get their first win, following three consecutive draws, they extended their undefeated streak to six games following a trio of back-to-back victories.
The gloss has come off a little bit following last weekend’s home defeat to Crystal Palace, as Scott Dann’s header undermined the positivity generated with the victory away at Chelsea.
Despite that last loss, there have been several reasons for optimism after a series of stirring performances from some of the Anfield giants’ players under Klopp.
Various names who struggled under Brendan Rodgers appear reinvigorated under the new man, while others who started the season strongly have taken their game to a new level following Klopp’s arrival.
