Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Paulista has revealed the Gunners’ intentions ahead of their Champions League match against Bayern Munich in midweek.
The North London side were in fine fettle on Saturday as they dispatched Swansea City 3-0 away, with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny in excellent form.
Arsenal are warming up ahead of their trip to Bavaria in midweek as they look to salvage their Champions League campaign.
Arsene Wenger’s side lost their first two matches in the European Cup, but pulled off an unexpected 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in UCL Gameweek three to give themselves a fighting chance of advancing to the Last 16.
Speaking ahead of the upcoming crunch clash, defender Gabriel has revealed how Arsenal intend to play against the German giants.
“When we play away, we also have to have a slightly different outlook, but that doesn’t mean we will spend the whole game defending,” the Brazilian began, as per ESPN.
“We are a big team, we are Arsenal and we need to attack because we need the result, but we need to attack with intelligence and make sure we don’t suffer a defeat and complicate our situation for the rest of our competition.”
