Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has reportedly told his teammates that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, according to the Daily Express.
The claim comes from French publication L’Équipe, who state that the Belgian international has informed his teammates with both club and country of his decision.
Hazard is said to have a fractious relationship with Blues boss Jose Mourinho and the 24-year-old is also conceded about the club’s “lack of ambition” (via Express).
The Express also reports that Hazard had been found to have ‘liked’ a rumour linking him with Spanish giants Real Madrid on social media earlier this week, which he may face punishment for.
If Hazard were to leave Stamford Bridge over the summer, the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain would surely be frontrunners for his signature, though a move to Spain could be more likely should Cristiano Ronaldo move on from the La Liga giants (via Express).
Either way, Hazard has struggled to rediscover the kind of form that saw him pick up the PFA Player of the Year award last term, and those comparisons to Lionel Messi and Ronaldo now look wide of the mark.
