Manchester United looked poor against Arsenal this weekend as they suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium, with Louis van Gaal clearly not trusting some of his players, while some look like they won’t be given many more chances if they keep playing this badly.
With that in mind, here’s a look at four realistic signings the Red Devils could make this January in an attempt to rebuild and have a squad truly capable of challenging for the Premier League title…
1) John Stones (Everton)
With Daley Blind unconvincing against Arsenal, it certainly looks like United were right to spend so much of the summer signing a new centre-back. John Stones is still available and is likely to be on Chelsea’s radar again this January, and United must also revive their interest in the highly talented England international.
