Manchester United are interested in signing West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell this January as they seek to replace the injured Luke Shaw.
The Red Devils are looking like being without former Southampton defender Shaw for the rest of the season after he was on the end of a horror challenge from PSV’s Hector Moreno in midweek.
This leaves Louis van Gaal without many options at left-back, with Marcos Rojo perhaps most likely to fill in in that position, though he’s more suited to playing centre-back.

According to The Sun, this could lead to United chasing Cresswell, who shone as an excellent attack-minded full-back in the Premier League last season, attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester City over the summer.
