The Chelsea marketing team have appeared to wind up their own fans by offering a ‘hat trick’ of offers the day after they lost to Everton thanks to three goals from Steven Naismith, reports the Metro.
Jose Mourinho’s side lost 3-1 to the Toffees on Saturday. The defeat at Goodison Park leaves the Blues 11 points behind top of the table Manchester City, and a long way off defending their Premier League title.

Just a day after the capitulation, fans on the club’s mailing list received an email offering a ‘hat trick’ of offers. Whoever sent the email didn’t appear to realise how sensitive supporters would be to the term after the defeat.

This is just the latest in a sequence of failures from Chelsea this season. Most have been on the pitch, with the side languishing in 17th place after five matches. They also, along with Sunderland, have the worst goal difference in the division at -5. Next up for the team is Arsenal, and it will require a big improvement if they are going to get any points from the encounter.
