Gunners revive striker interest after Welbeck injury blow.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani this January as they identify their top target to deal with the Danny Welbeck injury.

The Gunners are long-time admirers of the Uruguayan international, and considered signing him in the summer, though they failed to meet PSG’s asking price for him, believed to be around £50m.

According to Fichajes.net, Arsenal may now go back in for him in January, as there is an increasing feeling that Cavani himself may be keen to quit the Parc des Princes for a change of scene.
