Emirates Stadium boss fuels speculation over deadline-day swoop.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is apparently in Paris and this has, invariably, led to speculation that the Frenchman could be looking to lend a hand in an ongoing push to sign forward Edinson Cavani.

The Daily Star has reported that Arsenal have agreed a £45m deal to sign the 28-year-old PSG star but then a similar story has been covered by numerous sources throughout the summer transfer window so it’s hard to know what to believe…

Cavani would certainly constitute an improvement on the forwards Arsene Wenger currently has to rely upon with Olivier Giroud failing to net regularly during his time at the Emirates Stadium and Theo Walcott still looking far more suited to a wide-attacking role and Danny Welbeck failing to impress following his £16m move from Man United last summer.
Worth noting, Arsene Wenger owns a property in Paris and there is an international break on the horizon…just saying.
