Arsenal fans have reacted angrily to the lack of signings made by manager Arsene Wenger this summer.
The Gunners have only signed Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer, despite being linked to moves for Real Madrid star Karim Benzema and PSG ace Edinson Cavani. The inability to bring a striker to the club is particularly worrying, with the team struggling to score freely in their first four games of the season.
It was believed that the North London outfit were going to challenge for the Premier League title during this campaign, but the lack of arrivals has now put that in to doubt. Certainly, with own goals currently their top scorer, Arsenal are looking far less potent in attack than top flight leaders Manchester City.
This has angered supporters, who have taken to social media to express their displeasure. The situation may have even put manager Arsene Wenger’s position under pressure at the Emirates Stadium, with some improvement expected from the club this season.
Here is a selection of what they have been saying on Twitter…

So as per usual Arsene Wenger is too arrogant to strengthen our squad and will move forward with the same team who can’t win the title.

I’m not even an Arsenal fan and still, for some bizarre reason, I want to swing a bat round Arsene Wenger’s head for not signing anyone.
