Upton Park side close to agreeing White Hart Lane forward transfer.
West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor according to the Daily Mirror.
The 31-year-old Togo international has just a year to run on his current Spurs contract and is considered surplus to requirements by boss Mauricio Pochettino, who hasn’t selected the former Arsenal and Man City man for his opening three Premier League fixtures of the season.
It’s believed that Adebayor is set to move to Upton Park on a loan deal that would see Tottenham pay a portion of Adebayor’s £100k a week contract.
Adebayor netted just two goals in the Premier League last season but is an experienced top tier marksman who can certainly offer Slaven Bilic a great deal, if he is at the top his game.

West Ham are currently without both Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia, both sidelined with injuries, and Bilic would look to Adebayor to help boost his Hammers attack.
Adebayor has netted 96 Premier League goals in 225 appearances for Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham.
