New Chelsea signing Pedro has made a great start to his Premier League career, scoring in a 2-3 win over West Brom.
Blues fans have enjoyed this, especially after they signed the 28-year-old ahead of direct rivals Manchester United. Red Devils supporters have taken a rather different view of the former Barcelona man’s success, bemoaning executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward’s failure to bring the winger to Old Trafford.
United now look short on options in the final third, especially with the poor start Wayne Rooney has made in the opening three matches of the campaign. Meanwhile, the Stamford Bridge outfit look to have got over their early season jitters with the victory at the Hawthorns.
Perhaps more importantly for the player, the performance has shown that he can cut it in the Premier League, after leaving Barcelona, who he had played for since he was a youth player in 2004.

Pleased for Pedro. He wanted first-team football and has shown what he can do when he is given a little love and a starting spot. #cfc

#MUFC claim to have ‘dropped interest in Pedro’ makes club look even more silly now. #CFC.

Right or wrong LVG is being totally mugged off by this Pedro performance. The problem with arrogance is sometimes it’s totally blind #MUFC

All I can say is that it’s a good job we’re signing Neymar, otherwise all this Pedro business would be quite embarrassing ????????
