Emirates Stadium side chase Uruguayan international.
PSG forward Edinson Cavani wants to secure a move to Arsenal according to Spanish source Fichajes.
The 28-year-old has been used in a wide-attacking role by Parc des Princes boss Laurent Blanc so as to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic and that may well be the motivating factor in terms of Cavani’s keenness for a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Fichajes claims Cavani is keen to undergo a medical with Arsenal and hopes to speedily complete a move to the Premier League side.
Arsene Wenger could well do with bringing in a prolific goal-scorer to lead his attack with Cavani more capable of scoring regularly than current first-choice starter Olivier Giroud.
Cavani scored 104 goals in three seasons with Napoli and has bagged 56 goals in two seasons with PSG.
