Stamford Bridge side set to land long-term Man United target.
Chelsea look set to sign Barcelona star Pedro with the Marca (via Sky Sports) claiming that the Blues have met the forward’s £21.4m release clause and Man United have ended their interest in the 28-year-old.
Pedro has seen his role at the Nou Camp limited since the arrival of Luis Suarez from Liverpool last summer and despite his recent involvement in both the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup, primarily due to Neymar being out with the mumps, the long-serving attacker looks set to leave Barcelona.
Jose Mourinho may well feel Pedro is a more effective weapon to boost his wide-attacking options than both Willian and Juan Cuadrado and the Spanish international is reportedly already in London about to undergo his Chelsea medical.
