Valencia star Nicolas Otamendi is in England to complete a move to Manchester City, according to the Metro.
The 27-year-old had been linked with a move to Manchester United, but it seems that their fierce rivals have won the battle for his signature. The Citizens are thought to have agreed a £28.4 million deal for the centre-back, who is now having his medical.
If the Argentina international completes a move to the Etihad Stadium, then it will be a major blow to the Red Devils. They have recently seen former target Sergio Ramos sign a new contract with Real Madrid, and the 29-year-old’s teammate Pepe is set to do the same before United have a chance to sign him [Daily Express].
