Barcelona are understood to be considering a move for AS Monaco left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
The Catalonian heavyweights may be set to lose backup left-back Adriano this summer, with the Brazil international having been linked with a move to AS Roma [Goal]. The versatile star may also be under consideration by Brendan Rodgers, with Liverpool also understood to be considering the 30-year-old ahead of a potential summer move [Liverpool Echo].
Should Barcelona lose Adriano, they will surely need another player to cover for Jordi Alba, as the Spain international would be left as the club’s only player in that position, with the possible exception of French international Jeremy Mathieu, who is nominally a centre-back.
While Barcelona cannot register new players this summer, they have already brought Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal to the Camp Nou, and may yet bolster their options before the Spanish season begins.
According to Mundo Deportivo [via Le 10 Sport], Barca are considering Monaco’s attack-minded left-back as a possible replacement for Adriano.
