Tottenham are in talks with FC Porto with the Primeira Liga side keen to snap up White Hart Lane star Erik Lamela according to Portuguese source Record.
The 23-year-old Argentine international has proven a major disappointment since his move to North London two years ago, the attacker managing just two goals in 38 Premier League appearances, and hasn’t come close to justifying the club record £30m (via the Daily Mail) invested in his services.

Tottenham look to offload six as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to continue summer clear-out
Tottenham set sights on £60m Premier League pair
Record claim FC Porto are close to agreeing an initial loan deal that would include the option to sign Erik Lamela for just €7.5m (£5.3m) at the end of the 2015/16 season.
Mauricio Pochettino has offloaded a number of under-performing players this summer with Younes Kaboul, Benjamin Stambouli, Etienne Capoue, Lewis Holtby and Paulinho all leaving for pastures new.
By all accounts the clear-out won’t end there with Pochettino also looking to sell Roberto Soldado, Emmanuel Adebayor, Vlad Chiriches, Federico Fazio, Aaron Lennon and Andros Townsend (via the London Evening Standard).
Erik Lamela was one of a host of signings brought in by former manager Andre Villas-Boas, funded by the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, and the cultured forward has failed to replicate the form he displayed in Italy.
The former River Plate man bagged 15 Serie A goals in his final campaign at the Stadio Olimpico but has very rarely delivered the goods since his move to the English capital.
