United’s busy summer transfer window continues.

Manchester United could be close to finalising the transfer of unsettled winger Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report in the Daily Star.

The Red Devils are said to have accepted a bid of around €65m for the Argentine international, who did not make a decisive impact at Old Trafford last season after joining in an eagerly-anticipated move from Real Madrid.

According to the Star, a move for the 27-year-old to leave for PSG could happen today, with the big-spending French giants set to make him their latest marquee purchase.

PSG have brought in a host of the world’s biggest names in recent times, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, and Di Maria would represent another ambitious buy, with the club finally set to land a player they reportedly tried to sign last year, the Star says.

Elsewhere, the Daily Star also reports on Pedro’s future at Barcelona, with growing speculation that the Spanish international wide-man wants the chance to leave the Nou Camp and join United, though Liverpool and Chelsea are also contenders for his signature.

Still, the availability of a player of Pedro’s calibre could mean the club are more inclined to let Di Maria go this summer, with the Barca ace an ideal replacement in the attacking midfield department, which has already been strengthened by the addition of Memphis Depay earlier this summer.
