Arsenal are going to make a second approach to sign Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, reports the Daily Mail.
The Gunners have already seen one bid for the 27-year-old turned down, but that doesn’t seem to be the end of their overtures to the player. With there being doubts over Olivier Giroud’s ability to make a difference at the highest level as well as Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, and Joel Campbell not looking up to leading the line by themselves, a new striker seems vital for the North London side.

Arsenal are willing to go all the way to deadline day to make Benzema that man, after he scored 22 goals in 47 appearances for Los Merengues last time round. Alexis Sanchez is the only Gunners man who beat this, hitting the back of the net 25 times.
