Prior to boarding the flight with his new teammates, the German national team captain spoke as a United player for the very first time and spoke of his ambitions for the upcoming season.

The former Bayern midfielder is certainly no stranger to winning trophies as he has won eight Bundesliga titles, the Champions League once and the World Cup with Germany last summer.
United supporters will be hoping Schweinsteiger’s experiences can lead them to a successful 2015-16 campaign after finishing trophyless in the last two seasons.
