Tottenham have set their sights on AS Monaco winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco though their initial offer of £8m has been turned down by the Ligue 1 side according to the Daily Star.

The 21 year old Belgian international was key in helping AS Monaco to secure a return to the French top tier and has more than proven himself over the past two campaigns in Ligue 1, netting against Arsenal in Champions League action last term, and is now a target for Mauricio Pochettino.
The North London side are thought to have offered £8m for Carrasco but AS Monaco have demanded double that sum for the former Racing Genk star.
Interest in Carrasco is sure to lead to speculation as to the futures of the likes of Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon, all of whom failed to perform consistently last season.
