Danny Ings will hopefully improve on Rickie Lambert, Fabio Borini, and Mario Balotelli up front. Joe Gomez, and according to the Liverpool Echo soon Nathaniel Clyne, will shore up the shaky defence. Roberto Firmino will ease the creative burden on Philippe COutinho while also adding more goals.

5) Carlos Bacca, Sevilla
28 goals in 57 appearances last season from the Colombia international helped the La Liga side to qualify for the Champions League through the Europa League. The 28-year-old even managed a brace in the final! The striker could add the cutting edge that Daniel Sturridge has been unable to due to injuries at Anfield. The Liverpool Echo has linked the player to the Reds.
