The Hungarian stopper is out of contract at the Macron Stadium on July 1 and Brendan Rodgers has swooped, as he needs a back-up for Simon Mignolet with Brad Jones having been released last summer, the Guardian report.
According to the British newspaper, the Northern Irish manager was persuaded to make the 27-year-old an offer following his impressive man-of-the-match display at Anfield in the goalless FA Cup fourth round draw at the end of January.
Mignolet’s nervy performances in the first half of the 2014-15 campaign could have seen the Reds searching for a new first-choice keeper in the summer, however his improved form has retained Rodgers’ faith ahead of the new season.
Bogdan’s deal with Liverpool could be announced this week, and he will follow the signings of free agents James Milner and Danny Ings.
