The Metro believes that the Gunners could attempt to sign the former Athletic Bilbao ace, but the Italian publication has reported that Sevilla are the favourites to land the 30-year-old. Whoever signs the Spaniard will be getting him cheap, with the Bianconeri not bothered about the fee after bringing in the forward on a free in 2013.

The North London club currently rely on the streaky duo of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott to play up front, but could bring in Llorente to add some competition to the position. He scored nine goals in 44 appearances last season though, which puts in doubt his ability to compete with the current Emirates crop.

However, similarly to Giroud, the striker is able to bring others in to the game and hold the ball up. This could fit perfectly in to Arsene Wenger’s style of play, which will surely entice the 65-year-old.
