Rooney posted a image via his official Instagram account of himself alongside wife Coleen and youngest son Klay. Oh, and there was also a pig in the sea.
The animal seemed to take the striker by surprise, as he said he didn’t expect to witness such a sight on the Caribbean island.
The England skipper will report for international duty in a few days as the Three Lions face a friendly against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin this Sunday, before a Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia a week later.
Rooney will be hoping etch his name in to the history books with those two games as he needs just three more goals to reach 50 for England to overtake Gary Lineker and Sir Bobby Charlton and become the all-time leading goalscorer for the Three Lions.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a decent club season with United as he found the net 14 times in all competitions as the Red Devils finished fourth in the Barclays Premier League and booked a return to the Champions League, although they will have to come through a two-legged play-off tie in August to reach the group stages.
