Arsenal to push through £13m deal for Bundesliga star
The 24-year-old only signed from the Red Devils last summer, and it would have been the second time that he returned to Old Trafford since the move. On the first occasion the England international played in a Gunners shirt at his old hunting ground, he scored a goal and was an important part of their 1-2 victory in the FA Cup quarter finals.
Wenger said: “I would love to have him available but we will have to do without him.”
The forward joins Mathieu Debuchy, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Mikel Arteta on the sidelines. However, manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey should be able to play in the match.
The Frenchman said: “Aaron Ramsey is not in training yet but he should be better tomorrow.”
