Liverpool & Chelsea boosted as transfer target Radamel Falcao is made available for cut-price £20m fee
The Daily Star report that the Atletico forward is a top summer transfer target for Monaco, and Diego Simeone could be willing to cash in on the Croatian – who hasn’t scored in 10 games.
The Red and Whites main priority in the next window is a star striker, as the futures of Falcao and Dimitar Berbatrov are uncertain, the British tabloid states.
Manchester United have the option of signing Falcao on a permanent basis – but the asking price of £43.5m has caused inevitable hesitation from boss Louis van Gaal.
Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with a move for his signature.
