Manchester United have beaten rivals Liverpool to the signing of highly-rated Dutch winger Memphis Depay subject to a medical, with confirmation coming from the Red Devils’ official Twitter account.

The PSV Eindhoven man has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks and now looks set to join his compatriots Louis van Gaal, Daley Blind and Robin van Persie at Old Trafford next season.
