Jose Mourinho and Louis van Gaal have been eyeing a move for the striker at the end of the season, as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Ten strikers every Premier League club will be after this summer, with Man United outcast, Edinson Cavani
According to the Daily Express, PSG want Lacazette to replace the Uruguayan, and are considering making an offer for the Ligue 1 top scorer before the end of the season.
The news is set to irritate Arsenal – with Arsene Wenger reportedly keen on the Lyon hit-man to add support to Olivier Giroud up front – but the Frenchman is also apparently interested in Cavani.
The former Napoli star has been frustrated this season for being played out of position so as to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and the 28-year-old is ready to find a new club.
The reports suggest that PSG have accepted that their forward will leave in the summer, and it seems increasingly likely that the Premier League could be his next destination.
