The Catalan giants are known for their fondness in recruiting homegrown players, often finding great success in developing top talent from their own La Masia youth academy.

Bellerin is actually a product of that academy despite having made the switch to Arsenal at a young age, and he is now wanted back at the Nou Camp after some impressive form this season, according to the Daily Mirror.

Clearly a talented young defender, Bellerin could no doubt prove a hit at a bigger club like Barca, having made a great breakthrough in the Arsenal first-team this season, looking like one of the Gunners’ best players in an attack-minded right-back role.

With Alves on his way out of Barcelona, Bellerin now seems to be on the club’s list of replacements for next January when their transfer ban is lifted.
