The French international is becoming a top target for several European clubs after his continued excellent form at White Hart Lane, with Real considering him as an alternative to United shot-stopper David de Gea.
United may also raid Spurs for Lloris if de Gea does make the move to the Bernabeu, though the Daily Telegraph claims his transfer fee would eclipse the record for a goalkeeper, the £32.6m Juventus paid to sign Gianluigi Buffon.
Lloris could certainly make a fine replacement for Iker Casillas in Madrid, with the 28-year-old fitting the Galactico bill in terms of being a proven world class performer and big name who could certainly cut it at a bigger club.
The former Lyon man could no doubt be tempted to play in the Champions League after Tottenham’s failure to reach Europe’s top club competition.
