Tuttosport claims that Dimitri Seluk is in negotiations with the San Siro giants, having already struck an informal deal which will see his client put pen to paper on a four-year contract when the summer transfer window opens.
The 31-year-old has failed to reach his usual high standards on a consistent basis this season, along with many of his team-mates. City have fallen out of contention to retain their Premier League title and will finish the campaign without a piece of silverware.
A move to Inter would see him reunited with former Blues manager Roberto Mancini, who was at the helm when the Ivorian arrived at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2010.
He has since helped them to win two league titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup.
