Former France boss Blanc hasn’t won over everyone at the Parc des Princes. Despite accruing an extensive honours list—including the Ligue 1 crown, two league cups and two champions’ trophies—doubts remain about the coach’s tactical nous and his ability to manage high-profile, big-name stars.

While Paris are firmly in contention to retain their domestic title this term, their capitulation over two legs against Barcelona in the Champions League was concerning, prompting further talk of a change at the top.

Carlo Ancelotti, who left the club in 2013, has regularly been linked with a move back to the French capital, but Al-Khelaifi has reaffirmed his faith in Blanc.

As reported by Le 10 Sport, the Qatari CEO has confirmed that the former Bleus international will still be in the hotseat next term.

“Will the coach still be there next year? Of course!” he began.

“He’s doing good work. When we bought the club we knew it would be very complicated, it’s only been four years.”
