The Gunners go into the game 10 points behind the Blues in the table and, while they realistically can no longer win the league, they will delay the inevitable of Jose Mourinho’s side being crowned champions with a victory in the London derby.

History is against Arsene Wenger’s side as they are yet to beat Chelsea when they have been managed by Mourinho – a run that extends to 13 games following the clash at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season in which the home side were 2-0 winners.

Meetings between the two manager usually follow the same pattern with Mourinho preferring to stifle Wenger’s attacking nature and Keown says Sunday will be no different.

“Arsene Wenger hasn’t gone with two holding midfielders very often, he likes to be creative in that midfield area.” he told Sky Sports.

“So it’s about getting the right balance in midfield. I think Arsenal will look to take the game to Chelsea.”

“Jose Mourinho usually finds a tactic to stop the opposition from playing and Wenger tends to just go for it.” he added.

The North London outfit are in excellent form ahead of the meeting at the weekend having won their last eight in a row in the league and nine in all competitions after booking a place in the FA Cup final with victory against Reading last Saturday.
