Journalist Andrew Allen tweeted the news that FIFA regulations state that Sanchez is one of three Gunners stars who could be called up against the club’s will from the 29th of next month, with Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina and Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista also players who could miss out on the game at Wembley.
Under FIFA regulations Gabriel, Ospina & Sanchez could be summoned for Copa America duty from 29 May – the day before FA Cup final.

Sanchez would be by far the biggest loss, however, with the Chilean international firing in both goals for Arsene Wenger’s side in Saturday’s semi-final victory over Reading, and also looking like the club’s best player for so much of this season.
Ospina and Gabriel would not necessarily have started the game anyway, but Wenger will certainly feel aggrieved not to have them available for selection if they are told to leave to represent their national sides instead.
