Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has risked reigniting his tense relationship with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho ahead of their top-of-the-table clash next week, with the Frenchman mocking the Blues’ victory over Manchester United.
As the league leaders stretched their lead at the top of the table to 10 points with a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge, Wenger was focusing on safeguarding Arsenal’s passage through to the FA Cup final as they squeezed past Reading.
An Alexis Sanchez double gave the Gunners the victory and with nine victories on the bounce in all competitions, they will be heading into the London derby next week full of confidence.
However, hope of securing a third FA Cup and league double is dwindling for Wenger, but he still found time to lay a verbal jab on his nemesis Jose Mourinho in his post-match press conference.

As he was about to depart the room, a journalist asked the Frenchman if he was aware of the result between his title rivals. Wenger admitted that he wasn’t paying attention to events at Stamford Bridge and when he was informed of the final score, he replied: “1-0? The usual.”
