The 24-year-old is a highly regarded talent in the Eredivisie at the moment, scoring 16 goals in all competitions this season to continue his impressive rise over the last few years.
Wijnaldum has long been a regular for the PSV first-team, and also managed 20 goals from midfield two years ago, plus 14 in each of the previous two seasons for his current club and his former side Feyenoord.
According to the Daily Star, this fine form has put both Arsenal and United on alert for the player, who has been quoted as saying he’d like to play in a more competitive European league.
Wijnaldum has 18 caps for the Netherlands and can certainly cut it at the top level, with the Premier League perhaps likely to be his next destination as he looks to progress in his career.
