Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes a swap deal involving Arsenal forward Theo Walcott for Liverpool wonderkid Raheem Sterling would represent a great piece of business for the Merseyside outfit.

Both players have come under increased speculation regarding their futures in recent months for differing reasons.
The Arsenal man has just one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates and has started just once since scoring in the 2-1 victory against Leicester City back in February.
His lack of game time has seen him linked with a move away from North London, with Liverpool touted as a possible destination.
Meanwhile Sterling’s future won’t be decided until the end of the season after he gave an interview to the BBC without his club’s permission and he admitted that links to the Gunners were “flattering”.
Reports in the Daily Star suggested that the two clubs are interested in a swap deal, with the Gunners parting ways with £20m in addition and Merson is of the opinion that the potential deal would suit Liverpool much more:
“If Theo Walcott goes to Liverpool, Raheem Sterling goes to Arsenal and Liverpool get some money, I think Liverpool have had the best deal ever.” he told Sky Sports.
“If he goes to Arsenal, will he play? I don’t think he’s an Arsenal player. I don’t think he gets his head up or moves the ball quick enough.” he explained.
