The Colombian international has performed well since joining the Gunners last summer, replacing Wojciech Szczesny as the club’s number one and helping the team to a fine run of form in recent games.
Ospina kept another clean sheet for Arsenal as they held on to a 1-0 win away to Burnley this weekend, making it 11 wins out of his 12 league games for the club, setting a sensational record of 92% win ratio, according to the Metro.
Stats can be misleading and it’s early days for the 26-year-old at this level, but it certainly shows his promising start to life at the Emirates Stadium and gives previous number one keeper Szczesny little chance of reclaiming his place in Arsene Wenger’s starting lineup anytime soon.
