It’s that time of the year when the PFA awards are announced, and Chelsea captain John Terry has taken to Instagram to reveal his choices.

Given that voting for teammates is not allowed, there are no Blues players in this team:
But the former England international has gone for some rather surprise options, with Juan Mata – a former teammate of his at Stamford Bridge – making the cut, despite only recently forcing his way into the team under Louis van Gaal.
Sadio Mane is one of four Saints players in Terry’s PFA Team of the Year.
In goal is the obvious choice of Manchester United stopper David de Gea, who has excelled this season and is the main reason why they are still in with a shout of finishing in the top-four.
There is no place in his side for Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez however, although Laurent Koscielny, who has missed a huge chunk of the season through injury, is included along with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
Liverpool duo Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho join Tottenham’s Harry Kane to round off the team, with the latter two Terry’s choices for the PFA Player & Young player of the year awards respectively.
