Chivas beat Liga MX rivals Santos Laguna 4-0 in a friendly held in Houston, USA during the international break. The result meant the Guadalajara-bases side maintained their positive momentum, which has now seen them win nine of their last ten games in all competitions.

In the first half there were very few scoring chances for either side, as the encounter served up a poor spectacle for the thousands of fans gathered in the stadium. However, in the second half Chivas started to play more offensively and were rewarded with their four-goal haul.
Mexican international Marco Fabian opened the scoring after 53 minutes with a great long range strike, Jorge Enriquez added the second in the 70th minute, Alberto Garcia scored the third two minutes later and Enriquez grabbed his second of the night in the 89th minute to complete the rout.
