French newspaper La Provence have revealed that both Italian giants are circling and are looking to acquire the France international when his contract expires this summer.

Greek side Olympiakos and Russian club Dynamo Moscow are also interested in picking up the experienced and talented competitor when his current deal comes to the end at the beginning of July.

Gignac may recently have been facing increased competition for his spot in the Marseille starting XI—he was forced to take a substitute role against both Stade Malherbe Caen and Toulouse recently—he remains one of Ligue 1’s most ferocious forwards.

Having bagged 16 goals so far this term, the former Toulouse hitman sits third in the division’s scoring charts so far this term, behind Olympique Lyonnais forward Alex Lacazette (on 23 goals) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Paris Saint-Germain who has 17.

Gignac will get the opportunity to demonstrate his superiority to PSG’s Swedish superstar this Sunday when OM and the reigning champions meet in the French Clasico.
