Four records Harry Kane could break if Tottenham star wins Premier League Golden Boot
England’s Harry Kane already a ‘complete player’, says Tottenham teammate
The ex-Man City and QPR man also thinks the striker’s exit from the North London club to a bigger side will come sooner rather than later
“I have said it before – I think Kane will leave Tottenham,” he told talkSPORT, reports Metro.
“I could be wrong and he might stay, but it’s my opinion. I reckon he’d be worth £100million, I really do. If I was a chairman of a club I’d pay it.”
Whilst Kane has been nothing short of spectacular this campaign, with 19 goals in the Premier League and 29 overall and his recent call-up to the England national side and debut goal after just 79-second, £100m might be slightly over the top.
But this isn’t the first time Marsh’s mouth has spoken before he’s engaged his brain, the 70-year-old was sacked by Sky Sports in 2005 after making a tasteless joke just a month after the boxing day Asian tsunami disaster in 2004.
Marsh’s comments saw him use a pun on the world tsunami by saying David Beckham had turned down a £10 million contract with Newcastle because of what the Toon Army had done to Thailand, according to the Guardian.
