Liverpool fans are not happy with Raheem Sterling after it was reported by the Daily Mail that the youngster is ready to snub a bumper new contract at Anfield in order to focus on his football until the end of the season.

The England international has been linked with a move away from Merseyside since it was revealed in January by the Daily Mirror that contract talks had stalled between the two parties, with La Liga giants Real Madrid credited with an interest.
Then in another major twist, Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Arsenal are said to be monitoring the situation closely according to the Telegraph, with manager Arsene Wenger said to be a huge admirer of the 20-year-old.
Whilst it is unclear if Sterling will depart the Reds in the summer, he has two years remaining on his deal and Sky Sports News revealed that sources close to the player insist that he remains committed to the cause although he won’t sign a new deal before the season ends.
This hasn’t gone down too well with a section of Liverpool fans and some have vented their anger on Twitter:
I don’t even rate Sterling as high as most people but I can’t stand players at the club being disrespectful, if the reports are true

If Sterling doesn’t want to be there then cash in on him! Nobody is bigger than the club! #LFC

So basically it means #Sterling wants to earn more than #DavidSilva & #Neymar and almost close to #Suarez wage. #YouGottaBeKiddingMe #LFC
