The 27-year-old wide-man has found himself increasingly on the fringes of the first-team at the Nou Camp this term, falling behind big names such as Luis Suarez and Neymar in the pecking order to partner Lionel Messi upfront.
Pedro has shown himself to be a top class performer throughout his career, however, and could make an astute buy by Arsenal if they do manage to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
The Spanish international has won a long list of honours for club and country, forming part of the highly dominant Barcelona side that won the Champions League in 2011, when he scored the opening goal in the final against Manchester United.
Arsenal already have a number of options in the attacking midfield department, but there’s no doubt a player of Pedro’s calibre and experience could prove a useful option for Arsene Wenger’s side.
