The former Cameroon international, on loan at Upton Park for the season from La Liga giants Barcelona, is keen to play for a bigger club after impressing whilst with the Hammers.
It remains to be seen if there will be interest in Song after a recent dip in his performances, though he has previously shone at the top level in the Premier League and Champions League with his old club Arsenal, whom he left to join Barcelona in 2012.
Song never managed to establish himself as a regular in his two seasons at the Nou Camp, but has shown his potential with West Ham and seems to harbour hope of a move to a more high-profile name in English football.
West Ham, meanwhile, also want to sign Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson on a permanent deal when his loan finishes at the end of the season.
