Manchester City star understands why England fans were ANGRY after woeful World Cup
Phil Jagielka claims England’s players prefer Roy Hodgson to Fabio Capello
“There’s no point me lying and saying I know everything about Lithuania,” he said.
But the Manchester City stopper has put any fears of complacency to bed, by suggesting that the minnows will become well known to Roy Hodgson’s men by the kick-off.
“We will know everything that is physically possible to know about them by the end of the week because that’s the game we have on Friday.”
England go into the game against the side currently ranked 94th in the FIFA World Rankings, looking to continue their flawless start to their Euro 2016 qualification campaign, which has seen them win all four of their previous fixtures.
Hart will earn his 49th cap on Friday, and will likely reach the milestone of 50 against Italy on Tuesday, making the 27-year-old the youngest goalkeeper to achieve that landmark for the Three Lions.
