The pair have been breaking records for the last decade, and don’t look like stopping any time soon.
Between them they have won seven Ballon d’Or awards, four to Messi and three to Ronaldo, whilst this season alone the Argentine has scored 43 goals to the Portuguese star’s total of 42. Both players also continue to go head to head for La Liga and the Champions League titles.
However, QPR defender Ferdinand thinks that the debate between the two takes away from their respective accomplishments.
